MINUTES
SPECIAL MEETING OF THE TOWN OF NEWTOWN BOARD OF POLICE COMMISSIONERS HELD ON WEDNESDAY, MARCH 23, 2011
At 6:35 P. M., the Board went into executive session for the purpose of reviewing and interviewing Probationary Police Officer Candidates. Present in the executive session was Chair Person Duane Giannini, Commissioners Bruce Walczak, Brian Budd, and James Viadero. Also present was Chief Kehoe and Captain Rios. Absent from the special meeting was Commissioner Keith Jacobs.
At 11:04 P. M. the Board came out of executive session.
At 11:04 P. M., a motion was made by Commissioner Viadero to tender a firm offer of employment to below listed candidates with the provision they successfully pass all requirements to be accepted into the academy with a hire date to be determined by the Chief of Police:

seconded by CommissionerWalczak , and carried by unanimous vote, except Commissioner Budd voted nay on the motion for Candidate Wickman.
The Board adjourned the meeting at this time.
